The WoodTrust – Bell Foundation, Inc. was created in late 1992 with the support of the members of the Chester O. Bell Family and WoodTrust Bank. The Foundation was established to provide financial support to various central Wisconsin non-profit organizations, primarily located in Wood, Marathon and Portage counties – the predominant area of business operation for WoodTrust Bank.

Specifically, the Foundation Board of Directors seeks to provide both annual operational and special project assistance to local charitable organizations that meet the Foundation’s stated goals and objectives. Additionally, the Foundation operates a growing scholarship program for high-achieving area youth seeking to improve their lives through continuing education at the college level.

Generally, the Foundation Board of Directors meets on a semi-annual basis to consider pending requests.
